  76.                     for the MIPSpro 7.3 release.

  81.                     The linker now supports function layout in the
  82.                     text section through the use of a feedback file.
  83.                     This featire is intended to optimize performance
  84.                     by minimizing page faults and I-cache misses
  85.                     based on the frequency information in the
  86.                     feedback file. This file is usually produced by
  87.                     the prof(1)/cvperf(1) or sscord(1)/ssorder(1)
  88.                     commands, but a user can also construct or
  89.                     modify this ASCII file.

  91.                     To use this feature, you must add the following
  92.                     flags to your linker command line:

  94.                          -LD_LAYOUT:_r_e_o_r_d_e_r__f_i_l_e=_f_e_e_d_b_a_c_k__f_i_l_e_n_a_m_e

  97.                     with the -OPT:procedure_reorder=ON option
